"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.  For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful humanity to be a sin offering.  And so he condemned sin in human flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit."  Romans 8

 

Our Men's Team is again focusing on relationships, building accountability in men's groups and supporting our pastors. 2011 was successful and we appreciate the efforts of many who participated. Your efforts for 2012 and suggestions are welcome as we look for growth in our men in their families.

 

Our board consists of Mike Roberts, Bill Moe, Dave Fesenbek, Bob Folkstad, Terry Reed and others who help to present good efforts for fellowship and training. We are still looking to bring good programs, speakers and events to the church, which are interesting to our men and in 2012 some joined efforts with our Women's Ministry.  Although he is still with us until September, the Board is appreciative of the support Pastor Ryan Emerick has given us.  Great job!

 

With the support of all men who have participated in past Ministry endeavors we can accomplish much more for the coming year.  For that free cup of coffee and an input into our direction, call Bill Moe at 541-617-8445.

Monthly men's breakfast:

The monthly breakfast will be on February 11, 2012 at 8 am in the Fireside Room at the church.  Our speaker will be Pastor Eric Reyes from Succotz, Belize.

 


 

Weekly Activities

 

Men's Study, a fellowship of Christian men are meeting every Thursday at 6:30 am at the south Sharis. For more information, contact pastor Ryan Emerick at 382-5496.

 

Men's Basketball, Thursday, 7 pm, Church Gym.  Come on out, shoot some hoops, and make some friends.  For more info, contact the Church office.

 

Men in Prayer, Friday, 6 am, Sanctuary -Join our men at the altar for prayer.

 

Men's Study & Accountability Group, Saturday, 7 am at Bill Moe's.  For more information, contact Bill at 541-280-9080.

 

Men's Bible Study, Saturday, 8 am, Taylor's Sausage on 3rd Street, just south of Greenwood Avenue, in Bend. The guys are journeying through a study entitled Joseph - Migration to Egypt. Contact Rob Z. for more information at 541-233-6697.
