We believe that women are important members of God’s kingdom. At each Women's Ministry gathering we will have testimonials of God’s work in our lives and/or learn more about who Jesus is. We encourage the women of our church to bring community women to each activity as outreach is a priority for this ministry.
Activities for Women include the following: Wednesday Morning Ladies’ Bible Study will be starting a new study, He Speaks to Me, by Priscilla Shirer, January 6 at 9 am. Priscilla ministers full-time to women. Her desire is to see women not only know the uncompromising truths of Scripture intellectually but experience them practically. Why do we sometimes settle for the Word of God to be revealed to someone else and pass on to us as if God does not speak to us individually? This shouldn’t satisfy us. God desires to speak to us personally. He wants to meet us where we are despite who we are and reveal His will for our lives. Come join us and get ready for God to reveal Himself to you in new ways. We will also be studying Priscilla Shirer’s He Speaks to Me. If you have any questions, please contact Jewell Payne at 382-8482. Young Married Women's Bible Study. If you are married or engaged and under 40 years of age, we have a Bible Study just for you! We meet on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Monday evening of each month at 7 pm in the Fireside Room. Please note that child care is not available. Stitch by the Fire - Knitting & Crocheting. This group meets Friday evenings at 7 around the fireplace in the Foyer. Women of all ages are welcome to join, whether you are a seasoned pro or just a beginner (we're willing to teach). Needles and yarn are available for those who do not have any. Singles Mom's Group meets every Sunday evening in the mezzanine above the coffee shop. We discuss God’s Word, share life, and pray together. You are welcome to become a part of this group as we get know one another while getting to know God and His great love. We will meet Sundays at 5 pm. Childcare is available.
