As a student you know how busy and challenging life can be. Living a Christian life and being part of a church can seem like just one more thing to cross of your to do list. However developing a personal relationship with Jesus and being part of the church are some of the most important and life changing things you can do. We want to help you on your spiritual journey. It doesn’t matter if you aren’t sure there is a God, are searching for God, or were born in a pew we want to be there for you. Our goal is that you will realize that living life to the fullest is done by having a personal and active relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sunday Morning Young Adult Christian Eduacation 9:00 am ~ This is our Sunday morning program where all 7th thru 12th grade students are invited to join together and connect for deeper studies. Have you ever been frustrated trying to read the Bible? Wondering if the scriptures are even relevant for life today?  Join us Sunday mornings at 9am in the youth room as we ask these questions and explore God’s story, seeing how we ultimately find ourselves in it even today.  Be sure to bring your Bible.

Wednesday Night Youth Group.    Meet in the gym at 6:30 pm for games, then we'll head up to the Youth Room for worship, study, and more fun.  Our topic is "Fear".  Fear is a factor in our lives, but it doesn't have to overtake us!  Join us as we look at how to have a life free from fear.

Thursday evening from 6:30-7:30 pm at the eastside Cuppa Yo, we will take a deeper look at our Wednesday night topic.

SAVE THESE DATES:

Explore NNU ~ Feb. 23-25.  This event is free for sernior high students (except for meals on the road).  We will had to Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho.  This is an opportunity for students to see the campus, attend classes, social events, meet faculty, and get financial aid information.

April 14th - Sky High Sports in Portland

May - Video Scavenger Hunt

OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF ~

Serve  ~   Love   ~   Grow   Mission Trip 2012

Who can go? All students currently in 7ht-12th grade

Where are we going? We are serving in the Denver, CO community

When is the trip? June 22-July 1, 2012

What is the cost? $550 total cost

What will we be doing? We are going to be doing a variety of projects. On previous trips we have done children’s summer programs, feeding the homeless, painting over graffiti, yard work for the elderly, community clean up, and more! We will be working with City Conexx Ministry an established ministry that sets churches up with mission projects.

How does my student sign up? Fill out the Medical Release, Student Application, and $50 Deposit

ATTENTION!!! ATTENTION!!!

The first 10 students to sign up (by turning in the forms and $50 deposit) get $50 OFF of their remaining trip cost making the entire trip only $500!!!!

GIRLS ~ "Becoming a Modern-Day Princess" ~ This is an opportunity to go through a 10-week study that looks at what it means to be a woman of God.  The study will look at topics such as friendship, God as your father, dating, self worth, your relationship with God, and more.  Questions?  Please call Darlene Anderson at 541-317-0325.
